In August 2007, ASX will be listing ASX CFDs on SYCOM, the trading platform of its subsidiary, the Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE). The suite of ASX CFDs will include CFDs on ASX's Top 50 Stocks, major global equity indices, key FX crosses and commodities.

Ahead of the market launch, ASX will launch a range of practical and free web-based education tools and training programs to help prepare interested traders. These will include an online Trading Simulator that will allow traders to simulate the experience of trading ASX CFDs without actually putting funds at risk.
